Look at this beauty!! I took several pictures of this gorgeous bird. I'm not sure exactly which species it falls into, but I just loved how wonderfully graceful it was. I plan on doing a painting of this guy at some point. This picture was taken at a women's retreat for my church in Murrieta Hot Springs, California a couple weeks ago. I love this one because it's totally California!! The weather was wonderful...sunny and in the 70's the whole time. What a great weekend.
I'm sorry for those of you who are still knee-deep in snow...c'mon out to California! We'll spoil you for future winter/springs in your area.
